Review of Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary and Batu Caves from Kuala Lumpur, with practical advice on timing, price, transport, and what to expect.

“The transportation company coordinated with the previous tour and picked us along the way. At the sanctuary, the guide was nice and all the supporting people there managing the elephants were nice. They encouraged to participate and help the elephants feed and bathe. Excellent tour.”

Review of Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary from Kuala Lumpur, with rescued elephants, rainforest waterfalls, lunch, guides, and practical tips.

“We selected this tour because of the good ratings. Kumar will be your guide and he was every bit as good as the reviews had suggested. We loved the visit to the Elephant Sancturay, made special by the relationship Kumar has developed with the guides. Kumar had pre-planed a new treat for the Elephants which meant they were very happy with us when we fed them :-). I would recommend Kumar and his Jova Travel to anyone who wants to be looked after.”

“This is a convenient way to visit Batu Caves and the Elephant Sanctuary in one day. The drive is mostly highway, so having a driver rather than a full guide works fine. Our driver, Azman, was punctual, personable, and had a nice clean car. Read more”

Review of Kuala Lumpur’s Batu Caves and Kuala Gandah elephant sanctuary tour, with practical advice on timing, value, transport, and what to expect.

“- elephant sanctuary was een mooie ervaring, aan te raden om voor 10 rm achter de kooien te gaan met de parkverzorgers. - gids vertelde bijzonder weinig, en was vrij dwingend in zijn omgang. - batu cave bezoek voldoet niet aan omschrijving, zo is er maar een half uur, net genoeg voor een foto, en geen tijd om de grotten zelf te bezoeken - de herten dierentuin voegt weinig toe aan de trip.”

“Very no-frills tour around the city with Petronas twin towers ticket included. Booked because the twin tickets were sold out online (However they have a quota to sell to walking crowd which I discovered there as many tix were available). All in Read more”
